ЁЯОп Selection Process — Office Assistant & Officer Scale-I
- Office Assistant (Clerk): Phase-I Prelims (Qualifying) → Phase-II Mains → Provisional Allotment based on Mains merit and reported state vacancies → Document Verification / Joining. (No Interview)
- Officer Scale-I (PO): Phase-I Prelims (Qualifying) → Phase-II Mains (Shortlisting) → Common Interview → Final Allotment based on Mains + Interview marks.
ЁЯОп Selection Process — Officer Scale-II & Scale-III
- There is no separate Prelims stage for Scale-II or Scale-III. Candidates appear directly for a Single Level Online Examination.
- Single Level Exam (Shortlisting) → Common Interview → Final Allotment based on combined weightage of Exam + Interview marks.
- Scale-II experience requirement varies by stream — 2 years for General Banking Officer, Law and Agricultural Officer; 1 year for IT, CA, Treasury Manager and Marketing Officer. Scale-III requires a minimum of 5 years, in addition to the written exam and interview.
ЁЯУЭ Phase-I: Prelims — Office Assistant & Officer Scale-I Only
Objective test with state-wise prescribed examination medium. Marks obtained in Prelims are not added to the final merit score. Scale-II and Scale-III do not have this stage — see the Single Level Exam pattern further below.

- Office Assistant: 18–28 Years (Born: 02.09.1998 – 01.09.2008)
- Officer Scale-I: 18–30 Years (Born: 02.09.1996 – 01.09.2008)
- Officer Scale-II: 21–32 Years (Born: 02.09.1994 – 01.09.2005)
- Officer Scale-III: 21–40 Years (Born: 02.09.1986 – 01.09.2005)
- Relaxations: SC/ST (+5 yrs), OBC (+3 yrs), PwBD (+10 yrs), ESM (+service + 3 yrs).
Educational Qualification (As on 21.09.2026)
- Office Assistant / Scale-I: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
- Officer Scale-II: Bachelor's degree (min. 50% marks) + experience — 2 years for General Banking Officer, Law and Agricultural Officer streams; 1 year for IT, CA, Treasury Manager and Marketing Officer streams.
- Officer Scale-III: Bachelor's degree + minimum 5 years' relevant experience.
- Local Language: Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB is an essential qualification only for Office Assistant and Officer Scale-I — it is not a mandatory eligibility condition for Scale-II or Scale-III.
- Computer: Working knowledge of Computer is desirable.
